Yves de Mestral created this wine as his fish and seafood wine. It is a dry, fruity and pristine wine that has been matured in oak barriques.

This wine has found favour with quite a few of our customers so we keep selling more than we expect.

It is released mature - for example we are buying the 2015 in 2021 and feels more focused and far more dry than the more famous viognier from the Dutruy brothers 10 miles up the road.

If you like viognier you should try both :)

Vintage 2010

(Ben, October 2018): Now that the years have worked their magic on this wine, it has lost it's original vigour but gained so much in terms of depth and character. Despite not being heavily oaked, maturity has lent an aroma and taste that gives a beautifully oaky impression that seems far greater than expected. There is still plenty of minerality and acidity but a lovely depth and richness that reinforces my love of mature wines.

This is a very nice wine indeed that will continue to age for a while yet.
