More about

This vintage reflects the values of tradition, prestige and quality. It comes from the Lavaux vineyard which stretches luxuriously along the shore of Lake Geneva. The grapes undergo a skin maceration for ten hours to realize the full aromatic potential. Then, after gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in barrels at a temperature of 16-18°C. Maturation, also in barrels, takes a dozen months. Throughout this period, once a week the wine is stirred, resuspending the lees in order to "feed the wine". Reviewed by Adrian Smith below.

Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes

Beautiful lemon yellow with golden hues. On the nose fresh anise dominates, fresh lime, verbena and the sweetness of dripping honeycomb. All these scents are mixed in a base of discreet and elegant scent of fresh vanilla. On the palate, fruity notes and subtle smoke, round and smooth structure raised by boldness and smoothness. A powerful and easy-drinking wine with acidic support and subtle vanilla memories that persist in the finish which happily combines the sweetness and creaminess.
