You might not have heard much about it before but Sauvignon Blanc from Styria is worthy of attention, and this one is phenomenal - an approachable lesson in Sauvignon.
The wine is very well balanced and really shows off the minerality of the region, giving it a different flair from better known Sauvignon Blancs.
Langmann's Greisdorf are possibly the steepest vineyards for Sauvignon in Europe (60%) and it shows in the glass. They have that "Alpine" mouthfeel...
