More about

Dark colour, concentrated and with strong but smooth tannins. Red and black berry and less of the floral violet notes that Mondeuse can have.

Ben says (June 2017): Lovely dark colour and beautiful aromas of both red and black berries. It gives the acidic punch that you get from fresh cherries which hits and then softens immediately. It really gets your mouth watering. The tannins help to carry that red cherry flavour for a long time in the mouth and in the finish with other berries amking themselves known in the background.

Tasting Notes

Vintage 2013
This wine has aged nicely, smooth soft tanins with a lively acidity and plenty of fruit. It has developed a hint of rosemary with age that wasn't present in its youth.
