What a lovely sparker this is! 100% Chardonnay (so a Blanc de Blanc) and very refined. A delicate mousse which is sustained throughout. As you might anticipate the nose has a lovely amount of yeast. The wine is fresh yet smooth showing real sophistication. There is nothing harsh here but a delight for drinking alone, on special occasions, or to accompany a meal, especially fish.
