This wine is delightful with its light straw yellow colour and its complex fragrance of sun-ripened yellow fruits, English tea-roses, a riot of spices, freshly picked flowers and greengages.

More about

Although it's classifed as a Spätlese, the 71g/l of residual sugar does not make this wine overtly sweet, rather giving another dimension to the fruit.

Best drunk chilled to 8-10°C.

Flo says of the 2012 (July 2018) Notes of grass immediately hit the palate with a savoury sweetness. Sun-ripened apricots and the smell of an English garden comes to mind.

On the palate there is good Traminer spiciness, nectarines, fresh kiwi fruit, fruit driven sweetness and good minerality all wrapped up in a fabulous creamy texture.
