Beautifully clean yellow in colour with plenty of ripe pear, red apple and spicy quince on the nose. The acidity is still very fresh and combines with the pear flavours to create a sour pear drop taste that is delicious. The hint of Braeburn apple comes later. The finish is not long but still delightfully sherberty.
This would pair very well with mild ginger Thai dishes or with scallops or cod. Otherwise, drink as a lovely aperitif.
Flo says (July 2018): Delightful clean pear drop, with a freshness that holds up just as vibrantly now as when we first listed it. The zinginess lingers on your tongue, it is hard to drink this wine without a smile.

Surprise pairing with medium spicy butter chicken curry. The acidity and freshness a great match with the rich buttery tomato sauce!
Would be a great companion to savoury baking, meat or vegetable pies and (especially) quiches, but also crepes. Freshwater fish "meuniere" and summer salads. Amazing with chinese food and bold sushi.

Vintage 2010
still very fresh but has lost in fruit and complexity and will take a bit of time to come out of its shell. Carafe for a little while, ideally.

Taken to the Wine Gang Leeds event on September 28, 2019 and tasted by many people who were all impressed.
