An incredible blend of the best of the native Valais grapes. Robert's three blends are a legend in the Valais, revealed each year at an art festival organised by the domaine. This blend of Cornalin and Humagne Rouge is one of the peaks of swiss red wine and a real treat to enjoy. It is an elegant dark ruby in the glass and a thing of beauty. Dark red and black berries dominate the nose but there is also some burnt caramel, spice, cedar wood, cigar box and hints of much more. In the mouth, the black berries prevail and are joined by dark chocolate, black pepper, hints of vanilla, liquorice, coffee and more burnt caramel. The finish goes on and on with the berries continuing but the darker tertiary flavours pushing through again and again. This is a big wine and deserves a lot of attention.
