What an amazingly refreshing wine! This is a delight with masses of 'zing' that lets you know that you are truly alive. Pinot Blanc is often a grape which offers more than its moderate acidity would indicate and Harald Breitenfelder has crafted this wine into a mouthwatering spectacular. Don't however, be deceived into thinking that this is merely an acidic overload. Far from it. This is a well balanced wine with a beautiful ripe aroma with delicate nutty overtones. Rich and full-bodied on the palate. A Pinot with a lot of zing as well as elegance and harmony.
It is always sad when a vintage runs out as this has now done. We will be tasting the 2015 as soon as possible and, if the quality remains as high as the 2011, it will appear on the website.
