Ben says of the 2017 (May 2018): As you would expect from Oeil de Perdrix, the colour of this wine is a beautiful rosé. On the nose there is far more than I anticipate with many rosé wines. Typical Pinot Noir characteristics are combined with hints of honeysuckle and light citrus notes to create a beautiful aroma. These aromas are carried through to the mouth with an intense richness rarely found in this style of wine. It is glorious and very approachable for any wine drinker.
