Quite an unusual wine for Switzerland - but excellent.

The traditional red grape Cabernet Franc is a native of France and is found most commonly in Bordeaux and the Loire. It gives wines great depth of colour and has ample tannins ensuring long ageing potential. This is another unusual wine for Valais, but is a fascinating example of what can be achieved here.
I love this Cabernet :)
Vinified in oak barrels, it has a deep red colour, with a soft nose of fruit and herbs and a hint of spice. Gentle and soft on the palate, quite intense with lots of body and good length. ABV 13.3% . Drink at 16-18°C with red meats or venison. Keeps 10 years.
