More about

I'd sworn not to buy "Bordeaux blend" cuvees anymore. But for this I make an exception and I dare anyone to disagree after trying it.

This wine again comes from old vines in the La Liaudisaz vineyard - it's the best exposition to mature Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

It's not as much a big wine as it is a vast wine - it's got breadth, depth and length. So much black fruit, and so much elegance. Like all of Marie-Thérèse's wines, there's layers of minerality and subtetly here that will give the most jaded wine person childlike wonder. It's vast - your mind, and your nose and tastebuds can travel in it. For days, it will seem so...

The wine is nice to drink now - give it time, decant it! - but would reward long cellaring if you can wait.
