On the palate, it is relatively light-bodied but savoury with soft dried fruit flavours, strawberries and cream! Good length, slightly earthy with a dried fruit finish and just a hint of spice. Works well on its own or with food. Great with ham, gammon and pork dishes especially.
The 2011 is a little less dry (technically still dry but with a noticeable slight sweetness).
