Pinot Nero Riserva Glen DOC

There's only one good area for Pinot Noir in the South Tyrol - a plateau across from Kurtatsch, above Montan on the eastern side of the valley.

The Glen is incredible Pinot for its price.

More about

This particular wine is the only one coming from the opposite side of the valley, not around Kurtatsch. There, just below the area of the Geopark, is where the best Pinot terroirs are to be found.

This is an excellent Pinot Noir, refined and delicate but, paradoxically, with a power and robustness that belies the initial impression. Very drinkable immediately but with enough in it to lay down for at least ten years.
