We were impressed by the last few bottles of mature Neuburger in our catalogue, but could not find anything with that complexity - they don't even try anymore!
Until we met Verena Kiss again at ProWein and she made us taste hers. This is how it should be done - a prime vineyard location, good maturity and freshness, skin contact.
Every single vintage has been great, and they age very well.

Spontaneous yeats. Unoaked but with body and complexity from a small amount of skin contact. An orange wine thats more golden yellow than orange. The use of skin contact has allowed the winemakers to significantly reduce the amount of sulphites in the wine.
