Deliciously intense Beaujolais
An elegant oaked fleurie
We had been looking for an oaked Fleurie to replace Jocelyne Depardon's Fut de Chene, and think we might have found it.
Flo says of the 2015 (September 2018): A classic Fleurie which has aged into a smooth tannined easy drinking wine. Grown on pink granite this wine is meaty, silky, with a finish of minerality reminiscent of its terroir. This wine has spent 12 months in oak and grown from 70-year-old vines and it's only becoming more refined with age. This wine makes me want to pair it with great steak tartare or even peking duck.
