Stefan Hajszan’s 14 hectares of vineyards in Nussdorf, Grinzing, Heiligenstadt, Neustift and Obersievering include some of the best established sites in Vienna as well as 0.8 hectares of the Pfaffenberg in Krems. Since 2006 all vineyards are farmed biodynamically.
The main varietals planted are Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gemischter Satz and Chardonnay. It is the winery’s mission to re-establish the balance between men and nature.
Hajszan also have a restaurant - organic and highly recommended. One of the pictures here is of Elisabeth Hausgnost at our last visit together.
Hajszan today focuses on his restaurants - the wines continue to be made within the very respected Wieninger group.
