Founded in 1948, this is truly one of Switzerlands most respected producers whose wines are rightly seen as absolutely perfectly vinified - the best of the best of Swiss wine.
Simon was ahead of his time in his thinking and adopted modern knowledge and techniques very early on.
The estate is now run by his two sons - Axel is the winemaker and manages the cellars whilst Jean-Francois is responsible for their 8 hectares of vines. The estate produces a variety of wines, ranging from flawless Fendants from top sites, through to powerful reds, of which their Syrah is especially noteworthy.
