More about this wine

A splendid purple with masses of fresh grapey fruit, red berries and typical Gamay raspberry, with violet and strawberry aromas. This wine has a rich rounded taste and superb finish. It is the ideal companion for regional dishes such as Poulet de Bresse à la Crème or with mushroom based dishes (especially morels, if you can get them), but will also go well with white meats such as pork.

Serve between 15-18°C. Château Thivin Brouilly will keep at least 6 years but usually longer.

Ben says (August 2017): This is a soft and lovely Brouilly. Thivin always create excellent wine and this is one of them. The acidity is amazing, catching you by surprise but in a very good way. Sadly, it needs to be consumed now as it has, at best, a couple of years left.
