More about this wine

Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 - 90% Cabernet Sauvignon with a 10% splash of Merlot - Rogov 93 points.

A deep ruby with a nose of dark red fruits, blackberries, redcurrants and some pepper with decar wood pencilbox notes. On the palate, this is a big muscular wine with a rich punchy core of dark red fruit with blackcurrants, leather, some tobacco, mocha coffee and a slightly herbal note. The finish is very long, with some spice.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 - 94% Cabernet-Sauvignon and 6% Merlot - Rogov 92 points.

The grapes are intentionally harvested early. This wine is full bodied with firm tannins and masses of dark brambly fruit, with blackcurrant and liquorice flavours, coffee and leather aromas.

Both are ready now (2016) but can be cellared for a while still.
