More about this wine

I know Chardonnay is hard to sell on a niche site like ours, so when I take some there's a reason. This one is just fabulous - I love this wine. Elegantly oaked Chardonnay. Rich, warm, fruity, tongue tingling - reconciled me with Chardonnay in 2012 (together with the Chateau Thivin Marguerite).

Ben says of the 2013 (August 2017): I do love Beaujolais Blanc even more than a lot of Chablis. Stylistically there can be little difference but financially there is a vast amount!

This wine has a lovely deep lemon/straw colour and is clear as crystal. On the nose there is plenty of citrus with a hint of sweetnes in the background. In the mouth this wine comes alive. It is deep and rich with a delightful creaminess. Although only a few years old, it shows maturity beyond its years. Flavours of apricot, apple, lemon and lime. The light oaking gives a hint of vanilla but no more.

This is an elegant and delicious wine.
