A great value Riesling.
Lovely colour of pale lemon. Not quite liquid sunshine, but not far off!

Retasted 2015: This wine has matured into a much lighter Riesling than you might expect, but it still does not disappoint.
Quite a light nose with paraffin and green apple at the forefront. A little limey citrus shows behind. The honeyed tones have flattened somewhat which makes it very interesting and not typical at all. It took me a while to decide whether it is past its best, or just entering a new phase of development. I tend towards the latter.
It still returns flavours of green apple and plenty of citrus acidity, but the zinginess has matured into almost the flavour of the grapes themselves – very interesting indeed!
Ben says (August 2016): Well, having tasted this last year with some uncertainty, I was returning to this wine with some trepidation. Last year it was hard to decide which way this wine was going. Not any more! This has blossomed into a really lovely mature Riesling with far bolder flavours than a year ago. It is more than interesting. I love this wine. It hits all the right spots for me as a wine to drink on its own or with oily fish. I am craving Mackerel with this wine.
I would recommend grabbing this now while it is still here!
2007: A very pale straw yellow with a spicy mineral nose. On the palate, minerals and green apple - this is a bright zippy wine with good acidity. Good length with minerals on the finish.
