More about this wine

The Morgon is more berry compote (whereas the Brouilly is more fresh berries) with well balanced tannins. A lovely wine to share around a meal with friends.

Deep granite red with minerals and cooked red fruit on the nose. A palate dominated by jammy cooked red and black fruit, this has excellent body, smooth tannins and very good length. Will keep several years. More of a food wine.

In 2011 the "berry compote" has accents of fruits in liquor and a vibrant note of wild strawberry.

In 2009 (sold out) the accents were more towards black fruit, blackberry and black cherry.
