Graacher Domprobst Spätburgunder Trocken

A bit of a rarity with Domprobst being one of the top Riesling sites. This wine is a clear light red with a fruity nose.

More about this wine

On the palate, it is relatively light-bodied but savoury with soft dried fruit flavours, strawberries and cream! Good length, slightly earthy with a dried fruit finish and just a hint of spice. Works well on its own or with food. Great with ham, gammon and pork dishes especially.

The 2011 is a little less dry (technically still dry but with a noticeable slight sweetness).

Reviews

"Seriously good value" Outstanding range; delivery works well. The Spatburgunder Trocken is seriously good alue
