More about this wine

This is a typical easy drinking Swiss Pinot Noir that has plenty of red fruit on the nose and on the palate.

Tasting Notes

Decant this wine a little while before drinking as it can be a bit 'closed' initially and will appreciate time to open up to its full potential.

When it has had the chance to breathe you will pour a light ruby wine into your glass. The nose is filled with redcurrant, raspberry and a hint of strawberry with a nice smokiness. On the palate, the red fruits come through again. The tannins are not too harsh or overwhelming and there is a fresh acidity. The alcohol (13%) shows, but overall the balance is pretty good. It has a short but pleasantly fruity finish.
