One of our greatest hits. A very pretty, direct, confident wine.
First, it is fresh. High acidity, an acidity that is bright and pleasant, nothing harsh about it, just a clean brisk breeze. A bright trumpet solo.
The young vintages will wake you up, the older vintages mellow and widen a little.
The fruit follows, mellow and pleasant, as if the breeze was going through a warm orchard at the end of summer.
Finish is way longer that it has any right to be on an "entry level" wine.

The key to this wine is the terroir! Vines exclusively on primary rock, soil long washed away by the Danube digging its valley.
This soil structure offers great minerality. In search of nutrients the vines grow down to 10m below the soil surface.
Combined with the ideal ripening conditions that give wonderful ripe apple and stone fruit flavours this wine is perfectly balanced
