Classic inviting Muskateller - muscat with herbal flavours, mint, lemonbalm, in the background also orange zest and mineral elegance.
Ben says (February 2017): Give this wine a little time to open out. It has been waiting for seven years so needs a stretch and a yawn before it shows off. Once it is ready you will see that the wait has been worth it. This wine combines the zinginess of youth with some maturity, giving it a deeper character than when first tasted. All the flavours above are still present and the balance is lovely. Perfect with lightly spiced foods and maybe even North African cuisines.
Flo says (July 2018): This wine as with previous reviews still needs some time to open up. The herbal lemon notes still ring true and notes of other citrus zests and minerality round out the finish.
