Beaujolais Nouveau: Older vines and lower yields this is a seriously good Nouveau where the bright red fruits are not masked by carbonic maceration. Made by a true craftsman. The 2019 was voted joint winner best Beaujolais Nouveau for the Beaujeu celebrations last year! So easy drinking, and absolutely fantastic in the following Summer too. "Gouleyant"
Beaujolais Villages Nouveau: A more serious, grippier nouveau. Red fruit and darker fruit and some tannins. This wine opens up over time so buy enough and enjoy all the way to Summer.
Beaujolais Rosé Nouveau: We took this for the first time last year and were blown away, so much zing, delicious. Bright fruit, very zingy, bone dry, it was one of the best Rosé in all of Beaujolais. I have high hopes Philippe can repeat the feat this year.
Hommage a Philippe: this is the most serious of all our Nouveau. No Sulfur added at any point, not in the vineyard or the cellar or at bottling. The result has more heft than the "normal" Villages Nouveau, dark fruit and minerality, but it is a wine to keep cool and drink once opened.
