Lovers of Grüner Veltliner (a very sensible group) will be in seventh heaven with this Eiswein. Far from sickly and cloying, this has perfect balance. The citrus acidity cuts through any possible syrupiness and elevates this wine above the norm. Chill it down for a fresh, clean delight. It goes wonderfully with pâté and as an accompaniment to sweet courses, but I prefer it as a course in its own right!
