Gamaret-Garanoir Expression 2020, Cave de la Côte

Smooth red that goes with everything. We have Gamaret and Garanoir available on their own, but I find the combination here is even better as the complex body structure of the one complements the fruitiness of the other to make a better wine.

Dry and smooth with very soft tannins and lovely texture in the body. Perfect with spicy food - one of the best reds in our whole range with a hot curry

The smoothness and predominant fruit couple with the tannins to produce a wine that is excellent from the moment the cork is pulled. A sweet almost vanilla note mingled with nutmeg and plum appear in waves in the aroma of this wine. The wine largely sings of rich fruit balances with mellow tanning to deliver this delicious wine. A crowd pleaser and a conversation starter this wine gives all of the fruitiness of a Gamay with more of a spicy punch. Holds up even against strong flavours such as Thai or Indian curries.
