  • Alpine Wines Grape Varieties: Frühroter Veltliner

This is a fruity, powerful, sweet wine with a bit of spice and hints of almonds. It stands out through its elegant primary aromas, harmonious structure on the palate and a very long, fruit driven finish.

Ben says (February 2018): Time is, so often, a great ally of sweet wines. This eiswein has embraced time and used it to mature into a superb example of sweet wine. Whilst the original notes above ring true, they do not do this wine justice. Turkish Delight combines with candied fruit, crème brûlée, fresh mixed citrus peel, vanilla and Caribbean spices. These aromas transfer perfectly into the mouth and combine to make a stunning wine. The finish is long and delightful with the different flavours coming and going throughout.

Absolutely brilliant.
