YVES DE MESTRAL WINE DINNER - NOVEMBER 26
On November 26th 2014 we met at the Bell Inn in Stilton - http://www.thebellstilton.co.uk/ - with Yves de Mestral from Maison Blanche (and the next generation, Antoine).
The price for the dinner was £50.00 for 6 courses (including the canapés) and 9 wines, which was subsidised by us and Maison Blanche in our plan for World Domination through dreams, wine and vibrant friendly events.
The official start with canapés was 7:00 for 7:30 sitting down. Before that we met in the pub area where Yves, and the rest of us, were able to indulge his taste for real ale and Stilton cheese. Maybe not the best way to behave directly before a 6 course meal but certainly a wonderful one!
You can see the wines we had and the accompanying dishes in the menu. The Mackerel/Viognier was an amazing match as was the wonderful lemon dessert with the Demi Sec. Everyone had a super evening and, hopefully, we will return to the charming and welcoming Bell Inn soon.
