The vineyard is on the location where an elm wood once stood. Heidi's Blaufränkisch is made from vines that were planted in the Kulm vineyard in 1955. A very pure and crystalline Blaufränkisch going for precision and clarity. In 2014 this stood out at the Blaufränkisch tasting in London with its purity of fruit. Matured 12 months in large oak casks.
