As we said
When young, it was clear, clean and beautiful to look at, full of spicy red cherries. A lovely food-friendly wine and a bargain. With age, it becomes stunning, a head turning "tada, I'm here!" of a wine, and a great example of how Gamay can “PINOTER” become like Pinot Noir with age.
The 2009 was so good it was a teaching moment, a revelation in a glass. It's all gone.
The 2011 being warmer and younger is a little more approachable and perhaps less "Pinot" and more "Merlot" in its ageing, to oversimplify.
The 2013 is in the middle. It could be an ackward teenager phase but no, it's a very beautiful balance of fruit and age
The 2015 feels young still, though 2015 was hot so it is "une bombe" like many of our 2015
