Why We Have It

It converts people to rosé!

What to expect

A zingy saline rosé

More about

Released with a first bottling at Nouveau day as Rosé Nouveau, and then in the spring as Beaujolais Rosé .

The nouveau day release is fresher and zingier. The later release has had more time on the lees and is more complex and creamy, losing a little bit of zing but keeping for years.

Both have fruit and a nice saline touch which makes them great alone but even better to dine with.

The 2019 was so good, we snatched a little bit more in November 2020. The Nouveau 2020 was so good, we got some more in the spring of 2021.

The 2023 will likely be delicious again.

This wine is produced with minimal filtering and very low sulfites - it evolves a bit after the bottle is opened.
