2021 Rosé. Produced with minimal filtering and very low sulfites - it evolves a bit after the bottle is opened.
Released with a first bottling at Nouveau day as Rosé Nouveau, and then in the spring as Beaujolais Rosé .
The nouveau day release is fresher and zingier. The later release has had more time on the lees and is more complex and creamy, losing a little bit of zing but keeping for years.
Both have fruit and a nice saline touch which makes them great alone but even better to dine with.
The 2019 was so good, we snatched a little bit more in November 2020. The Nouveau 2020 was so good, we got some more in the spring of 2021.
The 2021 will likely be delicious again.
