A complex example of Amigne which unites power with velvety softness. Pale-yellow wine with crystalline brilliance and an intense nose of ripe fruit and lime flower (linden). Lively and full-bodied on the palate with a harmonious finish. Dry and unique.
Ben says (December 2016): It is hard to add or detract from the notes above. This wine keeps it's youth and strength as the years pass but some tertiary notes will be forthcoming soon, I am sure.
Ben says (July 2018): The note from 2016 has started to come true. The wine has moved from it's initial youth into a far more mellow maturity. Plenty of honey has appeared. The acidity remains lower than most Anigne and it has become a very pleasant wine indeed but not what you would typically expect from this grape. well worth snatching up at a reduced price.
