- The Wine
A top La Côte Chasselas from master winemaker Yves de Mestral in Mont-sur-Rolle.
Mont-sur-Rolle is between Morges and Geneva and is, with Morges and Féchy, one of the best locations on La Côte.
Rich, complex, a perfect wine to sip on its own, enjoy with fish and seafood and of course cheese.

Mont-sur-Rolle Grand Cru 2017, Domaine de Maison Blanche
This was one to open and enjoy with wine friends over dinner which we did with a dish of langoustines and a fennel velouté - it worked well both with the food and as a talking point. Two of us knew of Swiss wines but they are not something you trip over regularly nor is Chasselas a grape regularly encountered. Interesting and food friendly working well in the place of a decent white Burgundy. Excellent, unusual and classy.
Chasselas Mont sur Rolle 2016 Maison Blanche
My favorite Chasselas, just like you drink on lake Geneva. When will it be back in stock?
