- The Wine
A light lemon-green with a subtle mousse, this is everything a frizzante should be. Young, fresh, mouth-watering and easy to enjoy with no serious thought involved.
As an aperitif it is perfect and that is how I would drink it. If you want to pair it with food, please tell me what works best!
The aroma is clean and fresh with some sweet characteristics. Melon dominates with hints of green apple and mandarin.
In the mouth the fizz hits first and the result is a soft and fruity mouthful. The flavours match the aromas and the finish is quite long. The balance is pretty good. All in all, this is a splendid fizz for the price and well worth getting a few bottles in the hope that the sun may reappear later this year.
