- The Wine
2009: Treppchen Spätlese convinces from the first drop with unsurpassed precision, racy acidity and fabulous length supported by deep minerality. A lttle firmer and more meaty with cooler aromas than its infatuating and more accessible 2007 Spätlese sister, but still of equally fabulous quality.
2007: Only a very small quantity of this wine was made and we have none left. This was a masterpiece. For a wine with 93 Parker points this was outstanding value for money.
Two world class Spätlese wines, two fascinating wine personalities, they will enchant every Riesling fan. To savour now until at least 2020.
