- The Wine
The traditional red grape Cabernet Franc is a native of France and is found most commonly in Bordeaux and the Loire. It gives wines great depth of colour and has ample tannins ensuring long ageing potential. This is another unusual wine for Valais but is a fascinating example of what can be achieved here.
I love this Cabernet :)
ABV 13.3%. Drink at 16-18°C with red meats or venison. Keeps 10 years.
