The whites: A classic but spirited Chasselas and the two ancient varieties Petite Arvine (this one made by Badoux) and Amigne.
The reds: Pinot Noir Mario by Mario Chanton in Visp - something very special indeed! A Merlot from one of Ticino's best winemakers in the fabulous 2006 vintage and an ancient Cornalin.

Petite Arvine 2018 Germanier
This went down well when presented at a tasting, so had some over the Christmas period. Paired with a classic monkfish recipe (Lotte à l'americaine from Jane Grigson's fish book). It's a robust dish and the Petite Arvine stood up to it very well. Not the cheapest of wine, but then it is also expensive in Switzerland; worth it when pushing the boat out, though!
Pinot Noir 'M' 2012, Cicero
I love it and it is very popular with family and friends. Could Cicero vineyards be for sale????
