The grapes were de-stemmed and underwent cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 18°C for four weeks. Bottled on December 13th 2010.
Straw yellow. animating, racy, fine. fragrant, yellow peach followed by nutmeg, mandarin and crisp grapes directly picked from the vine. Dry with a fruity freshness - a bouquet in the very sense of the word! Refined, juicy, elegant and crisp, with fine nutmeg spice. White flowers and a subtle finish of elder blossoms, accompanied by some anise and fennel seeds. A classy Muscat from the silicate soils in Rust.
A great summer wine and only 11.5% alcohol. Food matching ideas - wild chicken breast with celery. A wonderful partner for finely herb flavoured cuisine, stewed tomatoes with laurel, terrines of goat cheese and light salads. Dry alternative when there is no Muscato left (see 4330097). Serve at 7-9°C.
