I must say I fell in love with the Lézard rouge. It does start with the label which hints at something minimalist and yet bold. Spot on.
The wine is really, well, Pinot Noir as an undercover agent - it intrigues, it delights, it then pulls the rug from under your feet. It then picks you up and smuggles you over the border in the rug... err... maybe I took that metaphor a little too far.
And if you're not a wine geek, it's just a deliciously fruity but bold wine to share over dinner.

Flo says (July 2018): I have had dreams about this wine. When I am lucky enough to try it, it is a wine to savour and adore. Highly recommend.
This is a fabulous wine with poultry, especially turkey and game birds.
