How can I save on delivery?

We simply charge what it costs us. Being small delivery costs us a lot more than it does cost big retailers.

First, if you live in an area where couriers overcharge, you might know a of a courier that has much better rates for your area. We'd certainly love to know so get in touch.

Obviously, you can reduce shipping costs by purchasing in larger quantities. We're geared for people buying moderately large quantities. Our couriers charge "per box", so sending 12 bottles costs the same as sending 7 and sending 1 bottle costs us the same as sending 6.

You also can reduce shipping costs by picking slow delivery. It is slow, but by batching orders all on a day we can get lower rates (for that one day)

To save on shipping we offer the option of picking the order up at the warehouse. Just choose "pick up" as a delivery option at check out and we will be in touch. Note that this is not a "same day" option, in general.

We also happily bring wines for collection  at events so look at our event calendar. Just choose the appropriate "pick up" as a delivery option at checkout and leave a comment that you want it at the event. Please note that we normally need this by Monday before the event for this to work.

For large orders or Highlands, Northern Ireland etc., if you have any enquiries about delivery costs you can still place your order as "invoice me" to reserve the stock and ask us to confirm delivery charges. We will confirm details with you prior to charging or sending.
