Bianco Rovere

The ideal accompaniment for a wide variety of fish dishes, and breast of chicken, especially from the grill. Also serve as aperitif or with antipasti.
The must for this white Merlot is obtained from the free-run juice after crushing and partial destemming followed by a very gentle pressing. The must is fermented and matured in barriques of new French oak for about 8 months. A bâtonnage (stirring the lees) is performed 1-2 times a week in the period between alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.
Colour: Intense straw tinted yellow. Bouquet: Complex and intense. With notes of exotic fruits and Williams pear, roasted hints like vanilla, and light nuances of curry. Palate: Smooth and rich. Fruity, elegant and harmonious, with a good structure. Mineral and persistent at the finish. Very good balance.

Trentasei

A powerful wine that nonetheless impresses with elegance and morning dew freshness. Like the amazing Sassi Grossi, only more so - more fruit, more power, more freshness, more elegance. It takes 4 years to make this wine. Guaranteed to impress.

1 x Bianco Rovere 2014, Brivio
1 x Trentasei 2012, Gialdi

Our cases are ranged from Discovery to Indulgence (bronze to platinum). Whereas this is also a measure of "quality" it is mostly a level of complexity and diversity.

  • Starter (Bronze). shows typical wines in the classic style - to learn or show the grape varieties and style. These are not "basic" but they set the bases for discovering more. Really a good place to start before you move on.
  • Explorer (Silver) still focuses on the core classic styles, but with more complexity and ambitious. Designed to give a wider understanding and make you try some new things.
  • Indulgence (Gold) showing off more daring wines, some of the best bottles and some of the more personal wines. You've now got the basics, and expanded on the basics, and you can have some fun
  • Magic (Platinum). Virtuoso wines, wizardry, creativity, no compromise wines - we're not learning anymore.
