It can handle a wide range of food from summer salads to roast ham or turkey. I also like it with vegetarian bean dishes.
It also keeps very well. The 2009 sold out and the 2007 is still superb to drink, slowly becoming the "South Burgundy" that Beaujolais, after all, is.
Flo says of the 2011 (August 2018): This wine is elegant and generous with its flavours. On the nose, rich floral and fruit aromas dance, on the tongue rich fruity Gamay just a joy to drink. This wine sings of fruit and has just enough sweetness that it can pair easily with white meat, canapes or even chocolate cake.
