Only 2% of Beaujolais Production is white and a large percentage of this is blended with Chardonnay from Burgundy and labelled Bourgogne Blanc.
This is 100% fruit from Beaujolais which is elegantly oaked in 2nd/3rd and 4th fill barrels. It's rich, warm, fruity, and tongue tingling.
In youth its led by fresh fruit aromas of pear, citrus and pineapple. With maturity it's honeyed, nutty and complex yet still retains its acidity.
Similar in style to wines of the Maconnais which it's in close proximity to.
Maconnais style but with complexity and freshness
It's one of the best oaked examples of this lesser known style of Chardonnay
Pan roasted salmon with beurre blanc
Oysters and seafood in youth or more complex flavours with age like mushroom risotto or creamy pasta dishes
